As an Ad Publisher you have the right to review all of the ads that are delivered to your admin panel. You are not obligated to place any of the ads that are delivered to your admin panel. If you don't want to accept an ad for any reason, simply don't place it.
How much can you make? That depends on how many pages of your site on which you would like to place ads and what advertisers are willing to pay to place an ad in front of your visitors.
